Battle of gate pa

 I enjoyed going with Te whare tapawha group to check out the battle of Gate pa site. There are some cool pou to check out while we were there and some information boards. 

Omanawa falls

I really enjoyed getting to go for a walk up to the Omanawa falls in Discovery! The view of the falls from the platform was really cool

Anzac Park

 I had a lot of fun socialising, playing on the playground and having a go at tennice baseball at Anzac Park this Friday!  

Johnson Reserve

 I really enjoyed exploring Johnson Reserve and having a picnik lunch there with mates!

Otumoetai Pa site

 I really enjoyed having a look at the different carvings for the Otumoetai Pa historic reserve and hearing the history about it

Goal/ māori hand game

We played a counting māori hand game today in Te Whare Tapa Wha, it was good fun trying to remember actions to the counting.

 

Crab spotting

 I had a lot of fun checking out different wildlife while walking harbour walk by Bushy Track park. Here I saw loads of crabs, small fish and even cows!
