Marble bar

 I had a mean time playing pool at Marble Bar for Frenz time. Played a good game and got a few of the balls in! Even got to catch up with a couple of the Greerton clients.

Trout fishing

 I had a mean time going trout fishing at the Trout Hatchery. I even caught a fish!

Mclaren falls park and waterfall

 I had a great day exploring McLaren falls park. We stopped to check out the big water fall on the bridge and I saw this cool hollow tree! 

Raranga/ Whatu exhibition

 I had a mean time checking out the harakeke/ flax weaving exhibition at the Historic Village, they had some really cool pieces! My favourite was the cloaks. 

Soccar

 I had a mean time practicing my ball skills and playing a game of soccar with mates in Movement at Pemberton Park! 

Project papatuanuku

In project Papatuanku I gave the king sweetie capsicum plants a vinegar wash to help get rid of aphids and pests. I had to be gentle and wipe each leaf once it had been sprayed. Afterwards I helped to wash a few pots ready to transplant them! 

Coast Care

This week our Discovery groups volunteered in our comunity by helping Coast Care in protecting the sand dunes at Mount Maunganui beach. We weeded all of the yellow flowers out of the sand dunes, as they are weeds that will over grow the sand dunes that protect our beaches.  We worked really hard as a team and did such a great job.
