Cooking healthy kai

 Kia Ora e te whanau. Today was all about vegetables. I helped cook up a stir fry with my mates. It was a team effort. Yummy

No meat, no rice just veges. Yummy

Disco & kai

I had a awesome day having a "kanikani" dance, and reka "sweet" kai of Savoury Mince stew(that I helped make) and yum frybread for lunch!! I had a wicked time.

 

Making mince for the Wilrose disco

 Kia Ora koutou. Modz here. Spent the morning in the kitchen making a big pot of savoury mince for all my mates. Did shed a few tears for the cause while peeling onions. Mean effort today

Garden care with the guys

 Kia Ora everyone, Modz  here. Spent the day tidying  up the Mara Kai at the centre with everyone. Good day to be outside doing some mahi. It was a team effort.

Te Puna quarry

Frisbee Golf

My friends & I spent the morning in the sunshine at McLarens Falls playing frisbee golf. It was a new game to most of us & we all really enjoyed it. Great way to celebrate my birthday!

Fishing at Sulphur Point

 Kia Ora Modz here. Did some fishing with the guys today. It was a bit wet out there but i enjoyed it and being with everyone.

Sowing vege seeds

 Kia Ora Modz here. I enjoyed learning about different veges and was involved in the sowing of seeds with my friends.

Blaze Fitness

 Kia Ora its Modz in gym mode. Enjoying getting some exercise with my friends.

Tuku tuku weaving

 I had a mean time at Greerton Library's Just Have Fun session making a tuku tuku panel. I made the flounder pattern. 

Colouring and movie

 I had a mean time at Greerton library’s Let’s Have Fun where we watched a documentary on sea birds then did some cool colouring.

Personal book

 I added some pictures to my personal book this week and coloured in some backgounds & titles. It's looking ka pai! 

Sand dune planting

 I had a mean time planting native grasses at the Mt Beach for Coastcare to help save our sand dunes. We did an awesome job. 

Indoor bowls

 I had a fun time playing indoor bowls this week. Even have my own technique to make sure I get the bowl closest to the jack.

Life skills

 I helped out with the vacuuming in the avo to help keep out centre clean. It's a good skill to learn for when I go flatting.

Bingo

 I had a mean time at the Greerton Library Let's Have Fun session playing Bingo with mates. I even got to pick one of the Bingo numbers to be called out.

Banana cake

 I had a mean time helping cook banana cake for Under The Stars. It smelt so yum!

Steamed puddings

 I had a mean time helping make steamed puddings for Under the Stars. I helped with mixing the ingredients and got to try some of the steamed pudding. It tasted choice!

Lets Have Fun photo frame

 I had a mean time finding and cutting out pistures to stick onto my photo frame at the Lets Have Fun session. The cool people from the Greerton Library came around and provided all the books and magazines for us to cut out. I am very happy with my frame!

Growing food

 I had a mean time harvesting the pumpkins to use in a fundraiser lunch later and helped my mate Nikorima plant his cabbage seedlings.

Blaze gym

 I had a mean time working on my strength at Blaze Gym. I enjoy using the different machines available.

Library fun

 I had a mean time hanging out with mates at Greerton library colouring in St Patrick's days pictures in their Just Wanna Have Fun Session!
