Fun at the park

 I  had fun with my friends for the last week before our Christmas break. We went to Gate Pa Park and played basketball and bean bag toss game. I'm looking forward to spending more time with friends next year! 

Cricket at Anzac Park

 I had a mean time practicing my cricket skills at Anzac Park. We practiced throwing and  arching the ball, bowling, and batting. Then played a game of French cricket.

Circability

 I had a mean time trying out different circustricks at the Circability fun day out at Memorial Park. I even had a go at slack lining.

Marble bar

 I had a mean time playing pool at Marble Bar for Frenz time. Played a good game and got a few of the balls in! Even got to catch up with a couple of the Greerton clients.

Trout fishing

 I had a mean time going trout fishing at the Trout Hatchery. I even caught a fish!

Mclaren falls park and waterfall

 I had a great day exploring McLaren falls park. We stopped to check out the big water fall on the bridge and I saw this cool hollow tree! 

Raranga/ Whatu exhibition

 I had a mean time checking out the harakeke/ flax weaving exhibition at the Historic Village, they had some really cool pieces! My favourite was the cloaks. 

Soccar

 I had a mean time practicing my ball skills and playing a game of soccar with mates in Movement at Pemberton Park! 

Project papatuanuku

In project Papatuanku I gave the king sweetie capsicum plants a vinegar wash to help get rid of aphids and pests. I had to be gentle and wipe each leaf once it had been sprayed. Afterwards I helped to wash a few pots ready to transplant them! 

Coast Care

This week our Discovery groups volunteered in our comunity by helping Coast Care in protecting the sand dunes at Mount Maunganui beach. We weeded all of the yellow flowers out of the sand dunes, as they are weeds that will over grow the sand dunes that protect our beaches.  We worked really hard as a team and did such a great job. 

Garden clean up

It was cool helping out with weeding the garden and planting some seasonal vegetables. We even got to catch up with some Greerton clients who came over to help out.

Sonic Cinema

 

I had a mean time at Sonic Cinema watching Migration the movie and enjoying some yummy popcorn and juice. It was a funny movie.

Flax dying

 I had a mean time dying some flax flowers in Te Whare Tapa Wha. They turned out very colorful.

Belvedere reserve

 I had a mea  time checking out Belvedere Reserve, socialising, feeding ducks and playing on the playground.

Apple crumble

 I had a mean time helping with making the apple pies for Under the Stars!

Marshalls animal farm

I had fun looking at all the different animals at Marshalls Animal Farm with friends, I patted and fed them while enjoying the nice sunshine.

 

Food Bank

 I had a mean time helping sort dog biscuits into bags at Food Bank. Can't wait to go again. 

Connect 20

 I had a mean time hanging out with my mates and enjoying a cold cola at Connect 20 Citizens Club!

Planting seeds

 I had a mean time planting some seeds of veggies I like so I can eat them once they have grown!

Lunch at Connect 20

 I enjoyed a choice burger for lunch at Connect 20 this week! I love hanging out with mates here. 

Massage chair

 Hey guys it's good to be back! I had a relaxing morning this Thursday trying out the massage chair and watching Mr Bean. Mr Bean is very funny and the massage chair is choice too.

 

Home with whanau

 Hey guys it's the school holidays so I'm chilling at home with my whanau.

Matariki disco

 I had a fun time dancing and socialising at our Matariki Disco on Friday. We even had a yummy feed of hungi which I enjoyed 

Garlic bulb planting

 I enjoyed learning how to plant garlic bulbs and giving it a go!I can’t wait for the garlic to grow so we can use it in cooking 

Blaze gym

 I had a good time working on my strength at blaze gym. I was lifting weights to build arm muscles.

Drink at citz club

 I enjoyed hanging out with my mates at the Citz club and having a nice cold coke.
